Demand leadership development

Develop and organize an annual course for all selected senior nurses within the UMC Utrecht, on behalf of our institute, so that they are prepared for their new leadership role in the organization. Develop and execute customized projects for various divisions, which function differentiation plays a role. There must be a new work culture in which ‘direction to take’ is an important concept.

Approach

There is a training program developed that meets three pillars:

  1. Position as a senior: a clear face to the position of senior, to the nurses on the one hand, and to the doctors, on the other hand.
  2. Project management: - set up of projects in the quality assurance or staff development and the writing of a project plan.
  3. Student: the promotion of the learning environment, the setting of individual learning and the coaching of students.

In addition, there are for the different divisions, training courses, workshops, intervisies and ‘train the trainer ' programmes’designed around the theme: how do I optimally control ‘stubborn’ healthcare professionals to culture development?

Approach
